Since Governor Wolf’s statement requesting temporary closures of non-essential businesses, organizations throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have felt the financial impact of the coronavirus (COVID – 19) pandemic. Many customers have reached out to our small, family-owned business to see what they can do to help us during this unprecedented time. We have compiled a list of small actions our customers can take to ensure that our small business, and businesses like ours, remain in Happy Valley for years to come.

Make a Purchase Online

While our retail location is closed, customers can still shop for high-quality Penn State gear with us online. Our store will ship orders placed through our website anywhere in the United States. All orders over $50 ship for free. We take pride in providing the same exceptional customer service to our online shoppers that we provide in the store. Everything that is available at our retail location is also available online 24/7.

Shop Online for Gift Cards

Purchasing gift cards online is an excellent way to support local businesses like ours during this challenging time. Our gift cards don’t have an expiration date and can be used both in-store and online. If you know someone attending Penn State next year, this makes a great graduation gift!

Follow, Like and Share Our Posts

Show us some love and stay connected with our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) during our temporary shutdown. We share a lot of fun content that will hopefully bring a smile to your face. We will also share updates about new products, special promotions and about our store’s operational hours.

Rate and Review Us

Perhaps it isn’t in your budget to make a purchase with us right now but you have received fantastic service from Lions Pride in the past. Please take a minute to leave a review of our store on Google and Facebook. We really appreciate when our customers take time to share their thoughts and feedback with us.

We aren’t the only organization being impacted by all that is happening in our country. There are many other small, family-owned businesses in State College that are navigating this “new normal” with us. Here are some other thing you can do to help the many State College industries impacted by COVID – 19:

  • Place take-out or delivery orders from your favorite local restaurants.
  • Donate to local non-profits that give back to the community.
  • Subscribe to community e-newsletters to stay in the loop with all that is happening.
  • Stay positive.

A big thank you to everyone for your unwavering support. Together, we will get through it and look forward to serving the State College and Penn State communities for years to come!
