Back to School

It’s hard to believe that it is already time to start thinking about back to school shopping. As a kid, few things brought me more joy than picking out new school supplies, clothing, and of course a new backpack each August. The end of summer was always a time filled with excitement and anticipation as I prepared to start a new year in a new grade. For my parents, especially my mom who was a teacher, I can imagine it was somewhat different; likely a time filled with panic and stress as everyone in the household had to bid adieu to the carefree days of summer and adapt to a new schedule.

I hope that this year Lions Pride can help take the stress out of your final days of summer and assist you with your back to school shopping. To make the end of summer more enjoyable for your whole family, I have compiled a list of essential items for your little Nittany Lion as he/she heads back into the classroom. The locally-owned State College retailer is truly your one-stop back to school shop. So, take a deep breath, relax and shop from the comfort of your own home for these must-have items for fall. All products pictured are also available at Lions Pride’s downtown location.
